NOMINON Part Ways With Bassist, Seek Replacement
May 17, 2004Swedish death metallers NOMINON have parted ways with bassist Lenny Blade. Lenny "will be concentrating on his other bands INCINERATOR and BULLET," according to a posting on the NOMINON's official web site. "And with Lenny out of the band Jonas Mattsson (guitar/vocals) couldn't find any reason to stay in the band either. He asked for a time-out and some time off thinking about his musical involvements. This means NOMINON is now looking for a suitable bass player to replace Lenny in the first place. When that is done, the band will go on working on the planned full-length CD and hopefully do some touring."
NOMINON's five track mini-CD, "The True Face Of Death", was recently released through Nuclear Winter Records. A gatefold 12" vinyl version of the EP will likely be issue in June. Also planned for release is a collection of NOMINON demos, to be made available via Northern Silence Productions next month in a package that will also include demo recordings from the once-promising Swedish black metal outfit FAFNER.
